Work with Oscar!

Hello dear community, and beyond! We have reached that moment where it is time to really expand Oscar's team of personal care aides. We have open shifts now, but we also need to build a team that can follow Oscar to college in August. Shifts now are mostly in our home, in Brighton. In August, Oscar will be living on campus at RIT, and will essentially need 24/7 personal care aides available to him. We want to set him up for success well in advance so once he gets to college, he can focus on school, not on hiring, training, and getting to know new people.

So, if you know anyone who might be a good fit, please send them our way! We need folks who can start right away, but even more shifts will open in May and June. That said, these are not seasonal positions, we are looking for folks who can commit to longer term employment, ideally at least a year.

Please review the information below carefully before applying.

About Oscar’s family:
Oscar’s dad, David, works in health care and is a musician. Oscar’s mom, Sally, works for an arts non-profit and is a writer. Our family is full of love and laughs, and is eager to welcome 2-3 open-minded, thoughtful, and caring individuals into our existing team of aides to allow Oscar the independence he needs to thrive.
